PokéDive shiny Pokemon
From version 0.6 the published shiny rate is 1 in 200. The older 1 in 40 figure is a 25 October comment, not the current rate.

Two rates, kept apart
| Fact | Value | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Current shiny rate | 1/200 | 1 source (0.6 update note) |
| Earlier rate | 1/40, also written as 2.5 percent | 1 source (developer comment, 25 Oct 2026) |
| Stat bonus | None | 1 source (developer comment) |
| Sparkle in a dungeon | From version 0.1.1 | 1 source (update note) |
| Eggs | A shiny parent raises the chance. The 5 percent line was not restated in 0.6 | 1 source (developer comment) |
| Use | Showcase points and an achievement | 1 source (developer comment) |
I will not average 1/40 and 1/200 into a blended percent. The update note is the later document, so the page leads with 1/200 and stores 1/40 as history. Shinies do not raise combat stats in that developer comment. They exist for a showcase score. Version 0.1.1 added the dungeon sparkle so a shiny is visible during a dive, not only in town. The same comment said an egg with a shiny parent rolls at 5 percent. Version 0.6 changed the base rate and did not repeat the egg sentence, so I refuse to carry 5 percent forward as if it were reconfirmed.
There is no public odds page and no video whose title is a shiny hunt of this game in the set I checked. I also will not paste main-series rates or a Pokemon GO chart onto this client. Whether the roll happens per floor, per encounter, or per egg is not published. If you are hunting, the practical reading is the 0.6 fraction, with the egg clause left open.
Questions
Are shinies stronger?
The developer comment says no stat increase. They award showcase points.
What were the odds in the first beta week?
1 in 40, from the 25 October comment. Version 0.6 changed that to 1 in 200.
Do eggs still use 5 percent?
That number was not restated after the 0.6 change. I leave the current egg rate unpublished.
